This summer I was able to go to Lake Powell with some flip-flops! Holey Sole do they know how to have fun! The first day is always pretty exhausting with walking back and forth to the car to load everything into the house boat but we brought the house boat right up to the shore this year! It was a walk in the park... especially for me because I was watching from the speed boat! I am grateful for all those sandals and flip-flops that did the heaving lifting though.
We found an amazing spot! It was up a small canyon which was somewhat scary weaving back and forth between the canyon cliffs to get there but it was worth it! The water was chilly but that didn't stop me most of the time. We even striped off our socks one afternoon! We also had a sock hoppin' stomp on the top of the boat! One of my favorite moments of the week was when a very old sole was blamed for drinking a whole shoebox full of coke! It was such a blast.
The water may have been chilly but that didn't stop us from noodle dancing! We even found out that if you practice out of the water, provided some filp-flops don't get to excited and wet their feet, it is easier to stay together in the water! It was one of the best noodle dances ever!
